omg, Pluto. ;__;
My little brother got into outer space and stuff so my step-mom bought him a place mat with all the planets on it. When I first saw it, I was upset, because it was newer and so Pluto wasn’t labeled. I was about to say something when I noticed something…
Pluto is there.
The artist remembered Pluto.
Guys…
The artist drew Pluto crying.

Game of Thrones: Favourite Joffrey moments
I don’t even watch the series, and I still need a photoset of Joffrey getting slapped around.
Joffrey slap montage = instant reblog.

Not that I'm opinionated or anything...: Book 1: Air. Chapter 5: WELCOME TO THE FRIENDZONE
As tumblr no doubt goes buck-wild over what just happened in that clusterfuck of a half hour, I thought I’d drop in my two cents. I just have one, big, overarching problem with that episode:
Absolutely all of the character interactions were based around awkward romance.
This is exactly what I…
See, this bolded part? Is exactly what I was worried LoK would turn into.
Bryke has no business replacing plot with bullshit lame romance. They suck at it. Remember the first series? Remember how painfully awkward any romantic interaction between the canon-romantic characters was? I knew LoK would fall prey to that eventually. I just didn’t know it would happen in the 5th episode of the series.
This cements my decision to just stop watching Korra. I can’t stand the relationship writing. I’m sorry, but I was a teenager once too, and shy, and awkward, and in NO WAY were my romantic interactions with people this crappy.
Well fuck you Nick.
Uhm, WHAT ABOUT HOW SCARED AND TERRIFIED KORRA WAS?!
Wow Nick, way to be major trolling a**holes. Let’s completely disregard the depth of emotion Korra went through in the episode and focus on the shipping. Uh huh, way to show us what matters.
…*laughing*.
Are we really surprised, Zutara shippers, that the folks at Nick are acting this way about the episode in question? (Which I haven’t seen, but have heard through spoilers that Korra undergoes something traumatic.)
They are ALL about trolling shippers. They were last series, and they are *this* series. It just confirms all along what I’ve thought about their motivations with regard to their fanbase - and I’d be really curious to know whether Bryke was in on this or not.
Stay douchey classy, Nickelodeon. >:/

OH MY GOD
OH MY GOD I CANT BREATH
THIS
IS AMAZING.
I CANT
OMFG
Not gonna lie, but I’m kind of laughing my ass off at the butthurt Mako/Korra shippers on the makorra tag, right now. Especially if they shipped the canon pairings last series.

asgjkadl;kg; LOL.
Excuse me, but…who was saying Katara was nothing like Korra? Yeah. Right.
Bryke knows who the majority of fans of the first series favored - Katara and Zuko.
Katara = Korra. Zuko = Mako. With a few minor changes, of course.
Bryke, you are so transparent.
Tumblr, I am disappoint.
“Why should women be paid equal to men? Men have been in the working world a lot longer and deserve to be paid at a higher rate. Heck, I’m a working mom and I’m not paid a dime. I depend on my husband to provide for me and my family, as should most women… and if a woman does work, she should be happy just to be out there in the working world and quit complaining that she’s not making as much as her male counterparts. I mean really, all this wanting to be equal nonsense is going to be detrimental to the future of women everywhere. Who’s going to want to hire a woman, or for that matter, even marry a woman who thinks she is the same, if not better than a man at any job. It’s almost laughable. C’mon now ladies, are you with me on this?”—
Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney
(via admetum)
This is actually a fake post. Ann Romney didn’t actually say it (although it’s quite possible she *thinks* it). I realized it when I went back and checked the source.
C’mon, Tumblr. Let’s not propagate untruths!! Verify sources before taking things at face value, please.
